can't describe the feeling of seeing a new and happy looking gp tutor in class :D
its just. total happiness.
and new hope brought about simply by seeing that new face
without the rather poor skin complexion
dry looking hairhalf painted red nailsdreadful dress sense consisting of flowery patterns or short dresses with boots
omg im damn evil. better shut up first before i incur more bad karma :D
but seriously! her 2nd lesson after the introduction and housekeeping matters was damnn nice. other than the fact that she demonstrated how good her vocab and language was but she was kind of adept at controlling the class too.
and the content she talks about is really appealing. it opens a new perspective on how you look at things.
which is the depth and interesting aspect of the lessons that makes it nice HAHA.
obviously there'll be practices coming up soon but i think we're surely going to be motivated, at least much more than last year to do well for gp (:
new math tutor too! i wasnt really against mr tan's style of teaching because he really has a good grasp of math and he knows the shortcuts and methods to apply in solving questions. though his shortcoming is his inability to control the class well and doesnt really inspire the class to listen to him properly, but if you're attentive and independent, you can really learn a lot from his lessons because he covers the techniques and will repeat them as he solves the question.
so in conclusion, which some of us agree as well, he's more adept at teaching individuals than a class. quite sadly there's a number of people in our class who dislike his style of teaching because we aren't exactly self-motivated to do work -.-
our new math tutor is this young looking guy who really looks like he could put on our uniform and stand among us as a student HAHA. and he's good! he understands his concepts, he knows what he's teaching and more importantly he can relate to us, especially when we told him about the two tests which both fell on friday.
but i guess like how all things go,
路遥知马力, 日久见人心
time will tell how good our new tutors actually are. but at least they started the year on good footing and left a positive impression on our class, unlike *erhem*
yupyup so im really looking forward to this new year although it'll be our last. not just in jc but before we enter ns to take a two year hiatus from studying (which according to my cousin, was what he really looked forward to because preparation and taking a levels was a really tough period)
going to do ini tomorrow! hopefully i can clear the articles by 6pm cos im gng to have my family dinner at 7 :D:D:D:D:D
very very happy about it :D because it's the first one im going to have since 5 years ago. though some people aren't going to be there but the idea of it is really really nice.
and somemore its going to be the same place where we had all our annual family dinners previously.
the wonderful and not so wonderful memories of eating the nice food, playing catching and eating only the crispy things (until now i still dont know the name of the biscuit thing) when we 捞鱼生, squeezing the foamy water out of the cleansing tissue -
the list goes on.
the only depressing memory was the one when i fell on my side because i was trying to climb over a fence that was like one head taller than me when i was quite young (yea monkey wannabe)
and then i cried all the way to the carpark sigh. it kind of spoilt everyone else's mood and dampened the spirits so i felt really guilty for that.
DINNER :D

im gna be proactive for this year. it's a commitment to myself. i wont call it a new year resolution cos i never ever follow them =P
Endured till
