home. everyone has their own definition of a home. most people have one. some people have two, and even more, when they find places that they truely belong to. and we pity those who have none.
for me, i have had so many homes, the standard one, in that hdb flat which reeks of my dog's urine every now and then when he pees in some hidden corner. the place where i've been eating, breathing and sleeping in. the place where i find my rest, find protection from the elements while enjoying the cool rainy weather or blaming the sun for being so hot and bright and ruining my afternoon nap.
ncc, where we used to cheer "count and a count and a left foot count ah ONE! cant hear you ah TWO! speak louder ah THREE! thats better ah FOUR! altogether now ONE TWO THREE FOUR ncc ncc all the way we like it here we like it here we've found ourselves a home a home a home sweet home
and our classes. 4O, where we had our fun niaoings and our soccer game with the sepak takraw ball at the back of the class. the place where you could scream and shout(usually after class), use the spare comp to sound the mousehunt horn or to play music. the place where we used to prac hw to dance, revise our work, play bridge, listen to lessons, sleep in. which better place could have been such a wonderful environment for building those friendships that last a lifetime?
now in jc. i have more places that i belong to.
s76! though we arent that efficient in doing official stuff but then we certainly can crap alot togther :D and surprisingly, its the niaoings and jokes that brought us together too :) though we may not be really close, but hopefully everyone's been treasuring the time that flies past us in jc, before the end of jc dawns upon us so abruptly.
MAD! HAHA the place where we've spent the 2nd half of our school life together :D i cant remember the number of pracs we had together lah i think there're like at least 50. especially with all the last minute chionging for diff performances at zen garden, stage of aoa, pe studio, thew's house, yck, rua, audi, o sch, salt studio and foyer, classrooms while waiting for performance and so many more. and i think when dancecamp and dancenight preps come it'll be so hard to let go of dance when everything comes to a close. till then, we'll treasure all the time we're gna have :)

its amazing how all these stuff have happened in the twinkling of an eye. that's why we really need to treasure the present.
