The first update 15 days after my birthday -.-
been chionging games like siao (if im at home)
if not its either
1) Dance lessons (with dar dan and dw, using shawn's name HAHA)
OOOOH FUN but sometimes my motor coordination still screwing up -.-
I STILL CANT DO MUSCLE ISOLATION FOR THE NECK
CANT DO SAI WITH COMPLEX FOOTWORK
though most likely i wont be continuing the lessons with daryll and dahwei into the next month cos shawn most likely isnt going -.-"
dan wont be going cos he's gna be damn busy with his concert practices and other things
2) Gym + swimming (on one of the random days luh)
ooh and weilong and alfy gave me guidance on how to swim freestyle. until now still abit fail lah but i think with more practice i'll learn it well i hope =P
breaststroke quite okay le! but i still swim super slow -.-
so one of my holiday goals are close to being achieved YAY
the other one is to grow more bulk but then considering the time at which i sleep everyday abit impossible huhh
so must change sleeping pattern liao. if i continue sleeping at 2-4am im gna die next year seriously
3) Walking
OMG this stupid tongjing pulled dan and me for walking twice from SMU back home le -.-
the distance is.. freaky
btw smu is at dhoby gaut, we live at bukit timah yo
first time we did that we spent 4 hours cos we took this lovely route:
dhoby gaut - tanglin - holland road - buona vista - dover - clementi - 173 route home
second time we 变聪明了we took about 3 hours cos we took this smarter route:
dhoby gaut - tanglin - holland road - 6th avenue - kap - home (which is the 77 route)
then on the day we didnt manage to go for our lim family outing, tj wanted to walk back from coro back home (that was 2 days later aft the 1st time)

4) Night cycling

but before that, let me give an introduction to the trip
it all came about because i suggested going somewhere at night just to chat
then dahwei got the idea of night cycling
and it evolved into a real plan -.-
AND IT WAS NICE. REALLY NICE
i shall let the photos talk FOR THE MOMENT =P
started off from east coast park. daryll and i were late so dahwei rented the bikes for us first =D
daryll stopped off too early! and he ended up in area F or somewhere far from where we were (area C). dahwei told him to run towards the lagoon (which was right cos the lagoon is like in area D/E i think) but then somehow got miscommunication, daryll ran towards area G (which is like eastwards) and thereafter turned back.
according to our pro calculations he ran about 5km
HAHA and so he was complaining about it whenever he could
"i ran 5km LEH"
but considering how fast he took to run that distance
he's damn fast already. 不愧是我们学生军的 orienteering champion team navigator (hard to find a chinese sub for this title LOL)

CBD AREA! this is the cavenagh bridge leading to fullerton hotel (i bet you didnt know the name of the bridge noobs =P)
the cool looking fullerton hotel! it's like grand despite its slightly old looks. after all it IS old (the old post office or sth)
THIS PLACE FAMILIAR ANOT? the buildings near raffles mrt if you didnt know -.-
and the singapore river~
at this point of time we were headed towards clarke quay
and the entire place was like ZZZZ
cos marked on the map its a park connector. but then we ended up traversing through pub areas where people were zi-highing to the music and dancing and drinking. but it's good to experience the night life of singapore! especially in such hip (sleazy) areas LOL
and then we moved from there to orchard, cluny road (near botanical gardens), then TOWARDS SCHOOL AND KAP
but first we reached
CORO (one of the popular eating haunt for hc students)

(on the other hand you can look at my hands)
wna guess what happened? you know the bicycle chains can come off the gears right? YEA that stupid thing happened numerous times throughout our cycling trip and we had to use our hands to get the chains back onto the right places (EEEEE)
of course lah the smart people would use leaves or whatever to protect yr hands
but then the leaves are so brittle lor
we kena reprimanded by some old man near lavender when we used our bare hands to set the chain back onto the gears =.=
BUT ITS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. the next time on cycling trips we can all become bike chain fixers =D

LOL but before that we had cramps BOOO
daryll is qiang lah throughout the first and second trip he didnt have cramps at all
so those sexy and hot thigh muscles aren't just for show =P

ANYWAY we chionged down the west coast highway which was pretty much more quick than weaving through the random roads and places in the middle of singapore. and it was then when we met the "big brothers" (term koped from dahwei)
Definition of big brothers: BIGBIG carrier trucks carrying more than 1 tonne of weight
(you get my point. right?)
ECP AT 6am! we managed to chiong all the way and reach ecp in order to catch the sunrise. but then we realized the sun hadnt risen over the horizon yet -.-
so time for spamming pics! since we really cant take much along the way

we were looking at this cloud which is partially red because of the light from the sun, but then its damn cool cos it was a thunder cloud (to be precise, a cumulonimbus cloud) from which you could see lightning O.O

EXERCISING OLD FOLKS! they made those shouts (like those you hear in wushu practices) in a somewhat amusing wayy and we were laughing about that.
and after that we saw the stretch of ecp towards macs spammed with people practicing tai ji. quite a nice activity to interact with others lor =)
