anyway it's been 16 long years. i wouldnt spend precious reading time to talk about how nice this 16 years have been, but it really has been wonderful for my parents (even my dad who has passed away for almost 3 years) to have raised me up for these 16 years.

when i think of my dad who hasnt been able to celebrate my birthday with me for 3 years, its kind of sad really. i rmb he's the one who always buys the nice food specially for me and makes the day very special (because he's always out working and comes back at like 9+)
and on my birthday he will specially try to come back home early (even if not so early, he would have gone to buy some nice food before coming back)

so the first group of people i really really wna thank is my family

for my dad who isnt able to be with me for my birthdays anymore but has given me beautiful memories

for my mum who has been sustaining this family without my dad for almost 3 years, for giving birth to me 16 years ago, raising me faithfully for that 16 years and for tolerating for my nonsense

for my grandfather who isnt able to be with me for my birthdays anymore too but has scolded me so many times for staying up late and treated me really well

for my grandmother who still scolds me frequently but constantly asks whether i am well and whether i have enough money everytime i go out, and for her very concerned face when i go out (esp for those night cycling trips)

SO FAR PEOPLE WHO HAVE WISHED ME (must put a hall of fame here so people will be shuang and so i can remember who wished me =P)

wei jing - MY OTHER 4O NCC BROTHER! and his harmonious nature =) who has always been my fellow late sleeper and msn chatter. the one who can always be relied upon to do things =D

hong nan - the 4O beng! with his super amusing behaviour like a gangster and superb hairstyle. got radio wishing for me and saimeng somemore but i didnt manage to catch it sorry! but the thought is really appreciated because no one has done that for me before =)

baifeng - the random leader! takes the initiative for doing random but nice things like teachers day card and helping to coordinate the birthday celebrations. and for his random comments flying around the class HAHA

russ - the LAUGHING BUDDHA! probably one of the most guailan few in our class, and has been my classmate for like 10 years LOL. really nice at heart and can be counted on to be damn lame and funny when needed =)

nelson - THE OTHER 1.8 ONE! (i THINK =P) who has been offering nice advice and talking cock with me randomly through the year. i remember your BOO! LOl

kah hong - THE SHORTEST ONE! my dota 徒弟 SIA. whom i imparted most of my knowledge to (and he's gna say why i didnt teach all. cos no time and i dont know what to teach mah!) also another guailan one with his amusing presentation skills

there're 6 really special things about this 16th birthday (wont put 16 cos too many not memorable le =))

1) first time i had so many wishings from friends OMG (last year i had like 3 on the day itself? cos it clashed with the first day of ncc camp -.-)
2) first special gift from my sis
3) first time i had a cake from friends (4o peeps =D)
4) first time i had a proper birthday celebration with friends <3
5) first time i kena cake smash on the face (with half eaten cheese cake leh LOL)
6) first time i received gifts from friends (REALLY i nv receive presents before frm friends de)

if you really took the time to read through everything i applaud you for your patience =D

once this birthday is over, it'll come back again one year later.

but there're always those
who dont have anyone to celebrate their birthdays for them
who dont even know their birthdays
who can never celebrate their birthdays again

be satisfied and really happy with all that you have.
