You know, being like close to 4 years in Hwa Chong, we've learnt plenty of terms with varied meanings, and expressions that can be used in many various situations. Let me list all the examples i can remember =D
and im gna continue this till we go to jc perhaps?

The Hwa Chong GlossaryBang - the sound made by the firing of any sort of arms.
Slang also refers to the act of coitus.
Example: If we don't bring a female friend, how are we going to end it off with a BANG?
Bonding - activities to foster bonds between people (usually in terms of friendship). Can also refer to the act of being intimate with a person by stripping his clothes off (sometimes violence is involved)
BSC - Beijing satellite campus (1 month for non-bsp, 2/6 months for bsp students/scholars)
Carebear - The adorable bears who are cartoon characters that were initially created by American Greetings for use on greeting cards. Now refers to people who don't care about anything under the sun, such as projects or homework
Chapteh - A popular game in Hwa Chong which involves kicking feathers attached to a weight.
Cheng2 gou3 (chinese pronunciation) - Literally means Orange Dog. Refers to a specific teacher who earns the scorning of the general student populace.
Chiong - To rush to a certain place or to attempt to finish up a task in the shortest time possible.
Copying - a common practice in Hwa Chong revolving around the concept of integrity. Can be further split into blind copying and intelligent copying.
a) Blind copying is copying blindly without verifying the copied answers with your own knowledge
b) Intelligent copying is copying things that you think are right and should be copied into
your own answerCoro - Short form for Coronation Plaza. Usually refers to the Golden Rooster, a favourite food outlet of Hwa Chong students.
Example: "Eh lets go coro to eat."
CSE - Centre of Scholastic Excellence
Dao1 (follows the chinese pronunciation) - to ignore someone
Differentiation - a topic in maths involving dy/dx. Can be used literally to refer to differentiating things and people.
Example: Differentiate Hon and Yao Ming (with respect to height)
Doctor Hon - our principal's name. He earned his phD in the year 2008.
EMB/SMB - Electronic Mesasge Board/Student Message Board. Used for posting all sorts of messages from teachers/students to students. Checking it is a habitual action of many Hwa Chong people and woe be with those who don't.
ftw - short form for 'for the win'. Part of the lingo used in Hwa Chong. Used as an expression.
GG - short form for Good Game. Usually used in DotA and other games. Also used to imply that a person is going to get punished or screwed(refer to screw) by results/teachers
Hiong - very strenuous/tiring
imba - short form for imbalanced. Used to describe people who are extremely intelligent or excel or own (refer to own/pwn) in a specific area/task
Integration - a topic in maths involving the reverse process of differentiation. Can be used literally as well.
Example: Did you know that our school's math syllabus is an integration of E and A Maths?
The aim of this math question is to integrate the students and foster greater cooperation between them.
JTIGE
R - Hwa Chong's set of values. Refers to Joy, Teamwork, Integrity, Global Perspective, Excellence, Resilience and Respect (updated)
Lockers - Refers to either the lockers in classrooms or the teachers' lockers outside the stuffroom where students can slot in things for submission.
Mug - Another name for a cup. Als means to study/revise in preparation for tests
Muggers - those who mug. Usually accompanied with adjectives such as hardcore, no-life, prc
Niao - to irritate or generate amusement by picking on a specific trait of others to criticize/laugh at(and warping it around)
Example: "HAIYO", "NOOB SIA"
Dah Wei is the most suave and talented young gentleman that i've met in my entire left. *Usually used with sarcasm
Normal (ispark term) - line perpendicular to a point or plane. Also refers to crazy/guailan people in a sarcastic way
OI - a way of addressing someone you do not wish to call by the name or someone whom you dont know (in a rude manner). Also refers to a cheer usually done in the canteen that drags on for approximately 10 seconds when someone cuts a queue.
Own/pwn (ownage) - Refers to people who excel to a great extent such that they beat their other opponents by a great margin.
Pigeon hole - A home for pigeons. Refers to the cabinets with different slots for students to submit anything based on paper to the teachers.
Poolside - The area beside a pool. Refers to the restaurant and the eating area beside the swimming pool. A place where (usually) low quality food is offered at exorbitant prices
PRC - People's Republic of China. Also refers to our peers in Hwa Chong who are China scholars
Pro - Short form for professional. Refers to a person who possess a high level of standards/capabilities in a specific field
PSB - Pupil's Suggestion Board. A place to offer suggestions to
improve our school life. Also known as a common place to find amusement. One of the most controversial aspects discussed among the Hwa Chong community.
Regurgitation - Voluntary or involuntary return of partly digested food from the stomach to the mouth. Also refers to the act of writing out chunks of points out from memorized notes for tests
Rent-a-textbook - A proposition raised by Cai Yong during presidential election, which was not implemented and earned the students', especially the S4s' criticism
Screw - To turn or move with a twisiting/rotating motion.
Vulgar/slang To have sexual intercourse with someone
(person) To wreck someone's life or reprimand someone (usually done by teachers)
(tests/objects) To perform badly for the tests
Selective reabsorption - The reabsorption of wanted substances back into the bloodstream in the proximal convoluted tubule in the nephron of the kidneys. Also refers to selective choice of revision topics to revise and absorb.
Selective listening - listening to only whats required and ignoring the rest
Sepak Takraw - a game which is earning increasing popularity among students (especially 4O)
sia - Part of some form of lingo added in at the end of sentences. Used in the same context like lah, leh and usually implies one's expression of amazement/sarcasm
Smoking - The act of sucking smoke and breathing it out using a lit cigarette (banned in schools and most public places). Also refers to the act of trying to wriggle your way through a difficult situation.
TanBB - A gay music teacher
Win liao -
Sarcastic used in the same way as GG(refer to above). Usually means that one person is going to get punished/reprimanded or suffer from some sort of unwanted consequences.
Win-win - Hwa Chong philosophy. Constantly used by Dr Hon in order for the students to offer/rethink their suggestions and solutions.
Zai/zhai - outstanding and impressive

AHAHA THAT WAS SO FUN =D
and im certainly gna work on this thing so that we can have plenty of nice memories of the jokes that we used to crack in high school.
sad to say we've only like 3 months left in high school. then in jc alot of changes will start taking place...
people will be more serious in their studies, pursue other
passions, be even more outstanding, and the old ways we used to speak and joke to each other in might change altogether because of the introduction of new, different people into our lives.
sigh.
