Start off with something damn guailan:
go watch the 2nd video on this website:
http://www.learningjoyresources.com/ec.htmlwe watched this during biology lesson. aft you've watched you'll know why our entire class was LAUGHING at almost every part of the video. educative but freaking dumb
"An interactive way to learn about plan B. Must watch!"
- Anonymous
and we learnt about hyperbolic functions for trigonometry and how to differentiate them. damn gay lah wth. you have trigonometry (which is like one of the most hated subjects ever) + differentiation (which is tough) then you extend it to hyperbolic functions. what kind of stupid math topic is this >.< (its supposed to be an A lvl topic so if you havent heard of it, dont bother checking it out.)
and like many people have talked about, we dont see the point of how learning about all these cheem shit can help us in our careers in the future. maybe useful for people like mathematicians and plain nerds, but wth does it have relation to being leaders in research, industry and government? (happens to be our school mission)
talk about building future schools. they sound like good ideas. so what. big arh? make lessons online, introduce new things to the school system and screw the traditional ways of having classes. good lah, no more class spirit, drag lessons everyday so theres no time for cca, introduce compulsory overseas lessons and screw people's lives.
anyway, on thursday and friday i managed to set my first ever record of not sleeping properly for 24 hours straight with no nap on the entire day of thursday O.O (okay maybe not so 'straight' because i dozed off awhile during the interesting entrepreneur's talk and the choral concert later in the night on thursday). i woke up on thursday around 6:20 am, and i fell asleep probably around 6:30am on friday on the bus 66.
and of course with the incident of sleeping on the bus, you would expect something to follow behind - missing my bus stop. and it was pretty bad. not just missed by like one or two, but i think got at least 8 bus stops. from school to the copthorne orchid hotel how many stops ah?
so i turned around and walked backwards, which was a stupid mistake because i thought there would be a way to cross the road nearby.
in the end i had to walk for 2 bus stops before i could cross the road. if i walked forward then i would be able to cross the road near scgs which is like less than one bus stop away =.= so i walked all the way to opposite the cca branch, and waited for the traffic light THREE TIMES. twice to cross both side of the road and once to cross the road between ccab and the bus stop. WHATS WORSE. i missed two buses, 170 and 66. the next bus was 66 again which came like at least 10 minutes later. so effectively i boarded the bus at 6:50 and reached school around 7+ (when i left home at 6:15 -.-)
what a great start to the day of the last training for me.
our last training for the day was zai but could have been perfect - if only there was full attendance. very sad. and part b's drills. hai. much more to improve on. not ndp standard in any way. quite disappointing yea. but the cheers. ahhhh. bagus =D and having not slept for 36 hours, i had a headache and felt like dozing off for the first time during all the debriefs that we conducted. thats why i kept moving to the back and standing up so i wouldnt doze off =\
and lastly, when i was playing soccer with NCOs on the field after training ended, i managed to do somethign fabulous. i pulled back my right leg to kick the ball, and as i swung my leg forward i heard a "CRUK" sound. quite loud, i think its as loud as the sound of about 10 branches breaking? okay lah, the sound abit scary nia. i tell you what's more scary later.
i would have collapsed if not for my left leg still being able to support myself. my head only though of one word: "PAIN" (and the vulgarities i kept swearing verbally) omg. but its damn pain. seriously. i was clutching my leg and trying not to scream. one of the more painful moments in my life (i wouldnt dare to say most and you wouldnt want to hear them too =)
ahaha. so i was sitting there on the floor waiting for the pain to subside. then slowly stand up, walk like a bai ka back to the terraces to sit down. at that point of time still very pain. then lie back and rest. wanted to wait for ncos and cadets to finish playing soccer but too bad, they play until so long. dont care them liao. just otot walk back to bunk. my speed was so slow that even though i took quite a long time to walk part bs reached bunk before me after finishing their game. wth. slowpoke. and till now i still have to limp on my left leg. hehe the scary part comes now
Treatment of my injuryNCOs went out today to do some fun stuff. i wanted to go too but too bad, leg injured,
so can slack at home to play and laugh at the other ncos who dont get to play but i didnt play. i went to see the nice chinese physician who did some nice things to me (arent you jealous? maybe not cos i stupidly put the phrase "the scary part" above there)
so i went to the chinese physician with my mum and sis. my sis who super zi lian wear until swee swee so that my mum and i could wait for her like 5 minutes before she came down after her bath -.-"
then we took a taxi there~ (the location of the clinic was like less than 400 metres away)
okay so i went in thinking that it would be just massaging (which is what i always used to see in the clinics and what we call in chinese tui1 na2). guess what?
*if you saw my pm on msn, its abit of a spoiler, too bad for you*
i had to be subjected to massage + acupuncture (which cost 40 dollars in total. damn ex.)
so i started off with the most fun thing - acupuncture
i was seriously going wtf. wtf. wtf.
OIE WAH PIANG EH THE DOCUMENTARIES I SEE ON TV ARE LIKE DAMN SCARY. but they didnt look so pain. just pray lor.
i got onto the bed with some pain (like what happened when i was about to sleep on friday night) and turned around to face the bed. the bed quite cool, got one hole for you to look at the floor (which reminded me of pumping position) and then the chinese physician (a female)
decided to violate me by pulling down my shorts and underwear so that she could see my ass told me that i was going to insert the needles soon. and for your disappointment (and mine as well), the female is an old lady who is aged at least 60.
so while i was studying the design of the wooden floor
and praying that she dont stick the needle into the wrong place, she spread some lubricant
at the place you wished it was on the areas she was about to poke and then stuck the needle in without warning.
OUCH!@#!$first one actually not so pain. came much more as a little bit of shock because it felt abit like the gentler version of the stinging sensation from our normal injections during primary school. the next two were too easy to be true. maybe because its near the ass where theres lots of fats at the back slightly above my buttocks. but the next one: at the thighs.
ever heard of people saying, for muscular people, injections will be much more painful for them? this proves it all (to me). the last one was at the thighs and it HURT LIKE HELL. okay it was just the pain of the regular injection but i was expecting it to be less pain.
i cried no, i really didnt cry as in tears, but a gave a slightly cry of pain.
and thats it. 4 needles sticking on from my body. should have asked my sis to take a photo =X
and i couldnt see the needles but supposedly they were attached via metal strings to a heating machine. so it was supposed to heat up the needles -.-
she didnt mention i had to stay in that position for how long, so i stoned and looked at the floor, while talking to my mum and sis for awhile to say how i felt. and then while i was stoning i tried to feel the sensation on my skin. because i wasnt thinking about anythign else at that time and i was breathing, when my body rose (i wasnt floating) as i took each breath, i could feel the skin stretch abit on my back, then i could feel the needle poking inside my skin.
ew.
and the needles grew hotter and hotter. but not as hot as the lovely sun we used to stand in for the 3 and a half years =)
i think i stayed in that stupid position for about 15 minutes. abit err lah. part of my buttocks could feel the wind -.- disgusting.
LOOK HERE TO SEE A PROVOCATIVE SIGHT OF A NICE SEXY ASSand of course, the area with the bed was covered from sight by curtains. what else would you expect -.-
then after the needles were removed, i had my massaging session. so she talked about how the injury came from the right bone at the back near the hip, which probably kena injured and made the nice "CRUK" sound. then she linked it to the leg injury and talked about how my thigh muscles were solidified.
thankew my muscles very hard
(strong what) but i think partially is because i gek because her massaging was DAMN PAIN. but when she massaged the other leg it wasnt that pain so i guess the thigh really got some problem. and the massaging was MORE PAIN than the needles poking into my flesh. it was really excruciating. den aft that she used some mechanical massager
which was as shuang as a vibrator to massage the thigh area. and she pressed it in WITH FORCE. onto my skin lah of course. where else? and it was even more pain -.-
she said it was to loosen my right thigh muscles cos its very hard.
so the learning point of the day is: some things are not supposed to be hard and when they are hard, you must massage them to make them soft. KEWL
after the massaging session she talked to us about how the drinking of cold water before exercise and after exercise can damage ur lungs and your body somehow. i cant remember but supposedly ur lungs will be dryer and weakened in the future and ur respiratory system will be damaged. the morale of the story is : dont drink cold water before and after exercise (which is dumb because our main source of water is the water COOLER)
next time:
if i were a physician's son, and if i were in NCC
"permission for time extension sergeant!"
"why?"
"need to find water cooler with not cold water to drink so we wont damage our body!"
"har?"
lame. and im really lame now -.-
and then she talked about other issues like my sinusitis and gave me a packet of 100 cute little green pills and told me im supposed to take 6 per session after meals twice a day. i cant bear to eat those cute little balls =(
6 days to ORD.
i hope i can run during ORD night. if not, i better prepare myself for a nice washing ><
Endured till
6:30 PM
With my rifle and my brothers and me~
