It's been a rather screwish week
especially since i haven't touched on my homework since week 3
and the hw i've completed is like, "a fraction of my total amount of homework".
And you can guess the fraction -.-
Anyway, had 2 holiday lessons for chinese this week. Quite sian, revised and learnt comprehension skills which are interesting at times. and its amazing how yeotc delivers the lessons such that it convinces you that chinese is muggable. especially all those skills. but obviously, my chinese still sucks. slow reading. i had chang wen suo duan and like 3 comprehension questions left in a 2 hour paper. zzz. like 34 marks gone liao.
Left a hell lot of homework. Starting my homework marathon liao. 40 hours left to do work, give or take a few hours for sleep (yes im going to chiong without sleeping), for eating and bathing. Let's just say i wont care about my eyebags for now.
wednesday got pds training and the 2nd round of the record breaker challenge. did alot of saikang in the morning and at NIGHT.
morning - pds ppl had to help us move tables from kkh to field even though they had training. wtf. kachiao their training again. damn sian. then ncos lah. lag so much. i mean, if ncos were there to help from the start, i could have asked the cadets to go back to training. it would be so much more productive there than helping to move those bloody tables.
NIGHT - this was the most fucking idiotic and retarded saikang that i think i've ever done for the stupid school. 6 of us moved wet tables which collected quite a fair bit of water (due to the rain in the afternoon) from the field, up the terraces and 3 flights of steps to the centre of clocktower.
There were 125 tables. We took one hour++ to do it, beginning from around 720 or so and ending at 830Heh. The tables might seem light when you move a few, but with like 6 of us there moving 125 tables, each had to move 20 tables up. And that isnt a simple feat. Considering that most of us were tired from either the saikang in the morning or the training throughout the day, it was damn tiring.
But you get to see alfy and daryll half-naked. They sh0 hawt w0rhxLuckily St John helped us quite a fair bit at around 8pm. Nice people. After all, UG people are always nice =)
Unlike track people. When they walk past us, they just look at us moving the tables and dao. Hai~ this kind of people ah. Won't bother to elaborate. But don't generalize because of just one incident. There are nice track and field people also ^.^
But overall, it was quite good pt. Just that the time we wasted would never be given back to us. Now my arms are aching like hell. And that stupid saikang made me unable to finish 100 in time during Friday's training. kao. feel damn zibei lah. the part cs doing 2 for 1 while the part bs were doing their 50. i started lagging from around 50. then when the part bs recover together with the part cs, junkai and i were still doing. zomg. rusty arm muscles. but no room for excuses, it shows that the training up wasnt enough. shows that the part cs are zai. standards better than us liao. haha.
Immersion teams were not bad. The way they talked to the part bs were good. Esp the content. Demonstrated the well-developed thinking of the part cs. And overall their planning for the orienteering was good.
even the performances. pds performance for syf opening ceremony was damn zai. seriously. the opening part with the formation and drills were impressive. and for the rest of the performance as well.
Except the wave i guess. The wave was quite messy lah. Doesnt seem like a wave at all. Even though its nice to be innovative, but the overall impression left on the audience is the most important. And yes, the performance has achieved that.
But all the credit cannot go to the choreographers lah. the performers also did a good job. morale was high, everyone did their best. coordination was bagus. maybe because it was the peak of the standards of the part cs, and the part b performers were already in good condition for the performance.
IMPRESS-ed us NCOs. But make sure you all impress the rest of the SYF audience. And we believe you all can do it.
3 weeks left. how will you treasure them?
